Jeezy has filed for divorce from his wife Jeannie Mai, a TV host, after two and a half years of marriage. The rapper filed the petition on September 14th at Fulton County Superior Court in Georgia. The first news of these two TV star divorce was broken, and he is seeking joint custody of their one-year-old daughter, Monaco.
Jeannie Mai was a TV host who hosted a popular Talk show, “The Real, for eight seasons,” before it was canceled last year. Jeezy once came to her show as a guest. They confirmed their relationship that year, and then Mai accompanied Jeezy at the inaugural SnoBall Gala in Atlanta.
Jeannie Mai explained to the audience that Jeezy is a reflective, deep, passionate, visionary, and great leader. Aside from that, Jeannie Mai further stated that she is experiencing a great life with Jeezy or J.
This pair welcomed their first baby and child daughter in the year of 2022, January. Jeezy and Mai began dating in the year of 2018, and after that, they were married in the year of 2021. Jeezy or J is a Grammy award winner who banged on the music scene in the mid-20s. He is widely considered an Atlanta Trap’s trailblazer and released more than ten studio albums.
Jeezy initially planned to pop the question in April 2020, but he was forced to change his plans after Covid-19, and they canceled the trip. Jenkins told people, “We both went through enough in our life to connect on the understanding that love should feel safe, honest, and pure.” Even Jeezy and Mai Jenkins attended the fashion show in New York City in 2021.
