Maximum Effort Channel, owned by Ryan Reynolds, partnered with Paul Fusco, who is the creator of the 80s hit sitcom ‘ALF.’ Together they have created new ‘ALF’ content starring wisecracking alien. The hit sitcom from 1986-1990 stars “Alien Life Form,” who resides in suburbia with a human family.
Fusco and Maximum Effort revived the ‘ALF’ with Shout! Studios and the content will premiere on 29th July. The new sponsor-driven content will have advertising messages integrated between “ALF” episodes of companies, including Fubo, Ring, and Mint Mobile.
This sponsored content, dubbed “Maximum Moments,” will feature brand-new storylines with ALF. Ryan Reynolds said, “At Maximum Effort, we love taking risks and blurring the lines between shows and sponsorship because we believe both can be equally entertaining.”
Starting this Saturday, you can watch both “ALF” and “Maximum Moments” episodes on Maximum Effort Channel. The channel is available on Amazon Freevee, Fubo, LG Channels, Sling Freestream, Plez, Tubi, Xumo Play, Vizio Watchfree+, and VIDAA.

Max will debut a new special based on stand-up comedy, “Tracy Morgan: Takin’ it Too Far,” on 17th August. The trailer and featured cuts from Emmy-nominated Tracy Morgan’s live special was released too. The special’s executive producer is Morgan herself, along with Rikki Hughes, and directed by Marcus Raboy.
The special’s logline goes as “Grateful and hyped, the comedian owns his set and unabashedly tackling topics such as dating in his 50s (along with the unexpected side effects that comes with it), his dysfunctional family, attempting to reverse gentrification in Brooklyn, and the very public 2014 car accident that left him with multiple broken bones, a traumatic brain injury, and a substantial settlement.”
Warner Bros. Discovery has launched its second annual event, “Friend Fan Week,” on 24th July. This event celebrates the Friends’ cast and new products, events, giveaways, and programs throughout the week.
