Singer Joe Jonas files for divorce after four years of marriage with actress Sophie Turner! According to reports by Page Six, a source close to the couple has informed that filing for divorce was the last resort for Joe.
Based on the public records that CNN has obtained, the divorce was filed on Tuesday in Miami-Dade County court in Florida. All of the representatives of Turner or Jonas have yet to be available for comments.
There have been rumors that Game of Thrones fame actor Sophie Turner and her husband, singer Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers, were facing issues with their marriage. They have been seen without their wedding ring for the past few weeks.
They have been separated for a couple of weeks; however, in a recent instagram post, Sophie posted a picture of themselves where she is kissing Joe’s hand! However, none of them are wearing their wedding bands.
With the questions rising about their wedding bands, in his instagram handle, Joe posted a picture wearing his engagement ring this week. It confuses their fans, especially when they have such a huge following.
Fans have been going ga ga over them since both fell in love in 2016 through Instagram and then married in Las Vegas in an impulsive chapel wedding in 2019. The couple also share two daughters; the elder is Willa, born in 2020, while the younger child is born in 2022.
Based on the reports related by a source close to the couple, the divorce has been a well-thought step by Joe, especially because he is considering the best course of action for his girls.
It’s been a year that both Sophie and Joe have been suffering in the marriage, and it has become quite difficult for Jonas to continue or salvage anything. He is out on a musical tour with his brothers, and apparently, he takes care of his daughters.
