Popular YouTube star MrBeast recently made a surprising revelation about declining an invitation to participate in an exciting underwater expedition to explore the remains of the Titanic.
In a tweet, MrBeast, also known as Jimmy Donaldson, shared his hesitation and the eerie realization that he could have been part of such a remarkable adventure.
Although it wasn’t explicitly stated whether the invitation was for the ill-fated Titan trip, which tragically ended in a catastrophic implosion, CNN reported that MrBeast shared a portion of a text message he received. The message extended an offer to join a mission aimed at exploring the iconic ship’s wreckage.
The sender of the message expressed enthusiasm about MrBeast’s potential involvement and mentioned, ‘I was invited earlier this month to ride the Titanic submarine, but I declined. It’s kind of scary to think I could have been on it.’
Currently, an investigation is underway to determine the causes behind the tragic implosion of the OceanGate Titan submersible. Last week, all five individuals on board lost their lives during the descent to visit the Titanic wreckage.
The victims of this unfortunate incident include OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, British businessman Hamish Harding, French diver Paul-Henri Nargeolet, and Pakistani-born businessman Shahzada Dawood and his son, Suleman, both of whom were British citizens.
