Profound Sadness'_ Hillary Clinton Reacts To Trump's Indictments In 2020 Election Case!

Shortly following a grand jury’s return of indictments in the 2020 election interference case in Georgia, Hillary Clinton expressed her concern, deeming the developments “a terrible moment for our country.” The indictment, disclosed late Monday night, involves a comprehensive case that includes charges against former President Donald J. Trump. Prior to the public release of these charges, Hillary Clinton participated in a prearranged late-night interview on MSNBC.

As 13 further criminal charges were brought against the former president in Georgia on Monday night, Hillary Clinton claimed she did not “feel any satisfaction” about the terrible legal situation Donald Trump is in. The former senator, secretary of state, and candidate for president claimed that she felt “great profound sadness” instead.

Trump defeated Clinton, who was 75, in the 2016 election. She was scheduled to appear on MSNBC on Monday in part to discuss a recent article in the Atlantic about the issue of loneliness in US society. Then, however, information about Trump’s most recent arrests for interfering with an election in Georgia in 2020 surfaced.

She chuckled as she said, “I didn’t think that [the appearance] would be under these circumstances, yet another set of indictments.”

“It’s hard to believe,” she continued. “I have no sense of contentment. I am extremely saddened by the fact that our former president is currently facing numerous charges that directly affect the viability of our democracy.”

Before presenting charges, the grand jury met for almost 10 hours. In addition to Rudy Giuliani and John Eastman, Mark Meadows, Trump’s former chief of staff in the White House, was also charged by the prosecution along with 18 other individuals.

The case began with a phone call on January 2, 2021, in which Trump pleaded with Georgia’s top election official, Brad Raffensperger, to “find” enough ballots to overturn his narrow defeat in the state.
