A lot of time has passed, and players across the globe are now enjoying Overwatch 2. There have been so many events taking place and celebrating holidays and Overwatch lore. These events are the best suitable time for players where you can get out of more games.
One of the most exciting parts of Overwatch is the Anniversary event. Through these events, players are getting opportunities where they can experience and enjoy Overwatch for long years. This is one of the most popular events in this entire game’s history.
But now, officially, Overwatch launched in 2022 on August 4th. It remains unclear about the Anniversary event around the original release date of Overwatch or Overwatch 2. However, players are expecting this event to happen a little closer to October.
There is a little issue that it would run a little close to the Halloween event’s game. In case Overwatch gets space evenly, then in May, the Anniversary date makes sense. Now players have to wait and see the Blizzard plans where they can announce the Anniversary event within the next several weeks with the actual release date of Overwatch 2.
According to the Forbes reporter Kris Holt, “My actual favorite part of the Anniversary event every year is fresh dance emotes. So, I’m really hoping we get to see Sojourn, Kiriko, Junker Queen, Ramattra, Lifeweaver and Illari all busting a move with brand new emotes. I’ve been saving my Overwatch coins all year and I’m ready to spend them on dance moves.”
