On 6th August, BTS member Suga held his final concert before announcing his plans for military enlistment on Monday. His agency Hybe Labels shared this news with a post on 7th August on the social media platform Weverse. This news has left fans heartbroken.
The post mentions that BTS rapper Suga is in the process of terminating his postponement for military enlistment. However, the official dates have not been announced in the post.
The post reads, “Hello. This is BigHit Music. We would like to inform our fans that Suga has initiated the military enlistment process by applying for the termination of his enlistment postponement. We will inform you of further updates in due course.”
The post also adds, “We ask you for your continued love and support for Suga until he completes his military service and safely returns. Our company will spare no effort in providing support for our artist. Thank you.”
At his last concert before military enlistment on Sunday, Suga was seen crying while performing. After the concert, he also held a live session in Weverse to interact with his fans.
Suga said in this live session which was translated by @ryuminating, a Twitter user, “I really am not the type to cry, but starting from Snooze, I felt it. The members were there, and my sunbaenims came too. Before, I had dreams while watching many sunbaenims and now I have become someone’s sunbae. And those 10 years flew past me. And that’s when the tears came.”
He hinted that the Seoul concert was his final performance before military enlistment. He also talked about reuniting with his BTS members in 2025. Suga ended by promising the fans to meet them again in 2015 and to wait for him.
He said, “If I say ‘soon’, that feels like a lie. So let’s see each other again in 2025. All right? Please wait a bit. 2025, let’s see each other then. You did great. Bye!”
