Bucket List

If you’re not familiar with the term, a bucket list is a list of things you want to do before you “kick the bucket.”  They’re goals that you hope to accomplish which will enrich your life and bring you happiness.

In order to reap the benefits, you should make sure that you complete it in full without any excuses!  While some people’s bucket lists involve jumping out of planes or other wild adventures, yours can be as simple as making small improvements which still have big payoffs.  Here are some that you should consider this year.

Complete a Challenge:

Taking a 30 Day Challenge has become all the rage in recent years.  It’s a great way to set a goal for yourself which will push you to your limits and prove to yourself that with enough self-confidence and motivation you can do it.

By taking something one day at a time, it will seem like less of a monumental task.  You may be surprised to find that by doing something in small steps you’re capable of so much more than you thought you could.

A challenge could be anything that applies to your personal interests or goals.  You could take on a fitness goal, dietary goal, and even a creative goal.  Whatever you think you can do for 30 consecutive days in a row which will have a favorable end result.

Travel To a New Country:

Travel To a New Country

When was the last time that you’ve gone on an epic trip outside of your own country?  Have you ever even been outside of your own country at all?

A lot of people see travel as something that they will get around to doing eventually, without making it a  priority.  However, travel has the ability to completely transform all areas of our lives in a myriad of ways. Seeing a new culture and a different way of life can change the way that you see the world for the better.

Declutter:

Clutter doesn’t just take up physical space, but also mental.  When your material items start to pile up, you eventually start to feel trapped.  You no longer own these possessions, but rather they own you.

Try to take an honest look at all of the things you’re surrounded by.  How much of them do you actually need?  When you start to compare what you need versus what you actually have, you’ll be surprised how much you can clear out. As a result, you feel a new beginning!

Complete A Project:

Is there something that you’ve wanted to complete for a long time?  There’s no better time than now. Stop pushing your projects onto the back burner and get everything you need to start and finish the job! What better way to start your new year?
