A report on ComicBook.com claims that the Lionsgate Motion Picture Group Chair, Joe Drake, has confirmed that John Wick Chapter 5 is officially sanctioned. Everybody loves a Keanu Reeves movie, and the John Wick franchise is no exception!
It is good news for all action lovers and John Wick franchise followers because the last movie, John Wick: Chapter 4, was released almost a year ago. Especially after the end of the five-month-long strike of Hollywood actors and writers, the script of John Wick Chapter 5 is being written.
It is officially in the works, and Drake, who is in the position to let people know, has confirmed that several spin-offs are also related to the franchise. What can be more interesting is to explore a world that people are excited about and make it so popular!
Recently, a series, The Continental, has been released on Netflix, while another is coming, Ballerina. Ana de Armas will be playing the protagonist, Ballerina, and it is rumored that Keanu Reeves might appear in the Ana de Armas starred feature.
John Wick: Chapter 5 is closed now that the script is in its work. Of course, fans are curious about the fifth installment of the franchise because, in John Wick, Chapter 4, the protagonist, portrayed by Keanu Reeves, was killed off. It is to be seen how the character is brought back to life!
Most movies follow each other within 2 to 3 years, so we might have to wait a bit before the film gets released. However, fans will be excited because there is an opportunity for another movie to enjoy after what they thought was the franchise’s end, as in chapter 4!
