Anonymouse was the first masked contestant for season 10 as they finished their performance with “What About Love.” The undercover singer was unmasked pretty soon, especially with the hints they have been dropping by.
The first hint was that the celebrity is on Time’s 100 special list, just like Angelina Jolie, Oprah, and Michelle Obama. According to Jeong, the Anonymouse singer was the most powerful voice in the show.
The judges Jenny McCarthy, Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong, and Nicole Scherzinger guessed that Anonymouse might be one of the singers such as Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, or Christina Aguilera. The episode was a special telecast with many reunion performances.
Rumer Willis from season 1 and Michelle Williams from season 2 performed together, with a countdown of the top five performances in the show’s history. Apart from the performance of others, Anonymouse added another clue, stating that her acting career further established her as talented!
In the same show, they were reminiscing about the undercover performances of season 9. The first masked singer of season 10 was unmasked based on the hints. However, they will not be competing in the show. Clearly, it shows that they were more of a celebrity to perform.
There was also a hint about Nick Jonas, a dinosaur, and a tiara packaged as a clue! The singer also said they started working young, but the voice was so strong that the big break came.
They also informed that the fame was along with the struggle. The singer also suffered from mental health concerns. Finally, the judges guessed that the masked singer was probably Pink, Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, or Demi Lovato.
And yet, it proved right when Anonymouse removed their mask to reveal it was indeed Demi Lovato! Apart from the reveal, there have also been performances by Victor Oladip from season 2 and Mary Zito from season 3!
